Last day in Ísafjörður
Today we moved on from Ísafjörður. We’ve been here since Wednesday evening, and it’s been a great time.
We woke up and visited the pool and gym one last time. Sage enjoyed all the pools and especially the slide.

Then we went to the nearby lookout for the third time. This time we could actually see out! It was very pretty.

From there, we went into town for groceries and to visit the Cafe and brewery to see if they might have found Friend. Unfortunately we didn’t find Friend. I don’t really understand how we lost him.

We drove 3 hours up and down along the fjords to Drangsnes, our last stop in the Westfjords before heading back to the ring road. It was beautiful and very remote.
Here in drangsnes we had dinner at the only restaurant in town and got information about the boat tour to the nearby island with a puffin colony and maybe seals and whales.
Tomorrow morning we will take the boat trip at 9 am. Then we will consider going back to Reykjavik to see the volcano. Otherwise we will continue on to the north.
