Seljalandsfoss and Reykjavík
This morning Steve went on a run around Vík in the morning and then we drove back to Reykjavik.

On the way, we stopped at Seljalandsfoss and Nathusagil to wander around, look at the waterfalls, and have lunch. As always it was beautiful. We had lunch and Sage played with Grandma and Grandpa. She is going to miss them when they go.

Then two hours back to Reykjavik. In town we went to dinner at Messinn, our favorite spot we found last time we were here. It was delicious as expected. Sage gave it a thumbs up. After dinner, we wandered around Reykjavík a bit looking for puffin salt and pepper shakers. We didn’t find them, but Grandma got Sage a book about a puffin in Spanish. I read it twice to Sage when we left.

Then Steve took Sage back to the campsite to go to sleep while Mom Willie and I went to the Sky Lagoon for a shower and relaxing dip in the hot spring. It was a great way to end the vacation.
Tomorrow morning we will take them back to the airport to head home. It’s hard to believe it’s all over. We have certainly done a lot while they were here… I don’t think we could have fit anything more in.
